At Friends for Life Dog Training, we use modern, science-backed, reward based training methods to build trust and clear communication. Our approach creates lasting, meaningful change while ensuring a positive experience for you and your dog.

There are no age restrictions for private training—dogs of all ages are welcome!

For puppy school, pups must be at least 6 weeks old and have received their first vaccination.

Zoom sessions are offered for all private services, however it will depend on your training goal as to whether Zoom sessions are appropriate. Have a chat with your experienced trainers to see what the best approach is for you.

Due to the nature of Group classes, they must be attended in person

We completely understand that life happens, and sometimes you may need to reschedule. Our goal is to be as fair and flexible as possible while also respecting the time we set aside for you and your pup

Group Classes

If you need to cancel, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice so we can offer your spot to someone else. You’ll receive a full refund if cancelled within this timeframe.

If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice or if you do not arrive for your class, the full course fee will apply.


All Other Services

Please note that all-inclusive training quotes do not cover cancellation fees.

First late cancellation (less than 24 hours' notice): No worries! We’ll simply reschedule at no cost to you.

Second late cancellation: 50% of the $100 cancellation fee applies

Third and beyond: A $100 cancellation fee will apply for each late cancellation.

No shows are charged the full cancellation fee of $100.
